This past fall in New York, 35 students from a range of schools, including the Bronx Academy for Science and Engineering, Mather, UNIS and Brearley came together for the Fall SIA conference. Students were guided through a range of activities designed to help prepare them to identify issues in their communities, address those issues through meaningful service and reflect on the impact their work had on themselves, their peers and the community. Sessions included content on bias and stereotype, project management, and leadership.
